First time at CCC?

03.21.12 | Newcomers

    An Important Note:

It is required by Government Regulation that Foreign Passport Holders only are permitted to attend CCC and that each attendee wear a name tag whilst at church. We thank you for your understanding.

    On your arrival:

If you are arriving by car, please park where indicated. Drivers who are waiting for you are requested to park behind the Beidong Flower Market next door to free up parking places in front of church.

    The Welcome Desk:

As you enter the building you will be greeted by one of our members and ushered to the Welcome Desk where you will find everything you need to get you started at CCC. Please fill in a sticky label for you and each of your family members and if you wish for a permanent name tag, fill in the details on the request form. You will also find a form to have your details placed on our database should you wish to receive information from CCC by email. The Church Bulletin is also found at the desk outlining Upcoming Events/Needs at Capital. Please take one as they are also full of useful information about the Kids, Youth, Women and Men's Programs we have running at CCC.

    Refreshments and The Lounge:

Refreshments are available before and after the service at the Refreshments table and if your child needs some space to run around, and the nursery area isn't for you, we have a family room next to the refreshments area in our lobby. Please feel free to use it without missing out on hearing the service.

    The Service:

Begins with a time of praise and worship led by our amazing Worship Team.  This time enables us to reflect and focus on God and get our hearts and minds prepared for spending time with Him. Children have the option to join the Children's Worship time downstairs at the beginning of the service or to stay in the sanctuary with their family to share worship time together. For Nursery aged children (newborn through age 3), you may take them downstairs before the service starts or during the service at any time if they are uncomfortable or are distracting to others.

Welcome, Announcements and Offeratory follow and then any remaining children to Grade 5 who wish to enjoy the Children's Program are requested to head down to Capital Kids for the remainder of the service. This is also the time when the Youth (Grades 6-12) head downstairs to attend the Sunday Youth Service led by our Youth Leader's Joe Jackson and Tanya Crossman.

The message is then presented by Tom Lowder our Teaching Pastor, followed by a closing song of reflection and prayer.

    After the Service:

Newcomers are invited to share refreshments and a chat in the Coffee Area and for anyone who wishes to pray with an Elder, they will be available at the front of the church after the service.

The shuttle is a large, white bus with a Capital Community Church sign in the front windshield.
